Saturday, October 29, 2016 - 6PM 5TH ANNUAL EUREKA SPRINGS ZOMBIE CRAWL A Benefit for the Flint Street Food Bank More info: http://EurekaZombies.com Zombie makeup and fake blood is all the rage on the evening of Saturday, October 29, 2016, when Eureka Springs experiences its 5TH Annual Zombie Crawl. A creeping parade procession of funeral hearses, doomsday vehicles, Halloween floats, and post-mortem street performers will join the hungry horde of the undead as they shuffle down historic Spring Street, from the Public Library to the Basin Park. Bring your kids (and your brains) downtown for some frightening family fun! Locals and visitors alike are invited to dress up and join the procession of undead revelers. There is no charge to participate. Zombies and other parade participants are only asked to each bring two (or more) cans of food to benefit the Flint Street Food Bank. Need help getting dead and ready? Makeup artists will be available in the Basin Park before the parade begins to assist the dearly departed with their new look. Brains and fake blood not your thing? Zombie hunters are also needed to help organize the horde. Or cruise the loop in your ghastly "grim ride", build a freaky Halloween float, or perform a scary street act! Be at the Carnegie Public Library at 194 Spring Street by 5pm to practice your shuffle, drag, and moan. Vehicles and floats will line up at the bottom of Hillside Ave. The Zombie Crawl starts at approximately 6pm, and ends when the slow-moving zombie horde reaches Basin Park! AFTERPARTY AT BASIN PARK, starting at 7pm! Is that your heart pounding in fear, or is it just the bass? Grab a quick bite to eat after the parade, and then shuffle back to BASIN PARK to shake your bones at the official DANCE OF THE DEAD, starting at 7pm. The official afterparty for the 2016 Zombie Crawl will feature the eerie electronic mashups and monster-rific mixes of DJ TESTUBE. The party ends at 9pm. Don't be caught dead somewhere else!
